Marsha’s Power Up
Smoothie Mix

Take some time to experiment with fresh and frozen fruits (I sometimes like to add 1/3 of a banana), and adjust the liquids etc to get the consistency you like. Adding ice prior to blending gives the smoothie more of a frozen treat consistency.

Start with the basic smoothie recipe first, then adjust to your preference

Basic Smoothie Recipe;

1/3 cup of Marsha’s Power Up

1 cup total of your favorite liquid

     - I use 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut milk and 1/2 cup of water

1/2 cup of frozen fruit

    - I use 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries and 1/4 cup of frozen cherries.

Optional - Your favorite yogurt

Mix all ingredients into a blender (the magic bullet works great), blend for ~1 minute. Adjusting the blending time will change the texture of the smoothie

Marsha’s Power Up Smoothie Mix is an offshoot of Marsha’s Power Punch. We took most of the ingredients, adjusted the blend and added just the right amount of whey concentrate. The result is a smoothie mix that is high in Omega-3 essential fatty acids and high in protein. Truly a great way to start every day.

Marsha’s Power Up Smoothie Mix is for more than just smoothies. You can use it the same way as Power Punch, in cereal, on yogurt etc.

Adding ice before blending makes this a healthy frozen treat you can eat with a spoon.
